Established in the Animal Feed, Agricultural and Horticultural industries, we are now providing specialist services and consultations to help our customers improve their production throughput, completing major expansion projects on a national basis with our mechanical engineering partners, B&P Engineering.

In order to facilitate our progression, we have renewed our Safecontractor and Sustainability status with Alcumus, attained C&G Level 3 accreditation to install EV chargers and strengthened our administration team.  Our Panel Building facility and Consultancy Services enable us efficiently manage process control projects from design to commission, with after sales support and maintenance.

As fully trained and qualified electricians, in 2017 we established Skillsmith Electrical Services Ltd with one goal in mind: To give great electrical services that meet the highest standards of quality. From that day onwards, we never settled for less. Because electricity matters, and so does how we treat our  customers. 

This ethos is reflected in our mission statement "To provide quality, cost effective electrical installation for all our customers". We never take payment until a customer is completely satisfied. This means our customers never have to worry about quality, they know it's our top priority. 

It’s all about service, and about making sure that you feel confident with your choice, and know you are getting the safest solution in the field.  We're a family business and we treat you as family, too. We handle every request with the utmost care and professionalism. 

Two generations of learning, consulting, training, gaining skills and experience.  We are continuously improving through specialist training and recruitment to steadily grow our business; Jonny has achieved Compex Ex01 - Ex04 to ensure our designs meet all standards, including hazardous areas and environments.  Our apprentice programme has ensured we have a constant skillset to meet all the demands of the business.
